Volunteer Opportunities
Are you interested in helping out "behind the scenes" for any of the Terrapin Hill Farm events? Contact Brenda@TerrapinHillFarm.com for information about volunteering for jobs such as the ones listed below in exchange for admission to an event of your choice. (requirements vary and may require advance purchase of admission to the event)
Distributing posters
Farm preparation (mowing, weedeating, firewood, etc)
Registration/greeting
Directing vehicles/Parking
Kids crafts, games
Set up (tents, tables, chairs, etc)
Food set up/caterer help/clean up
Grounds/trash maintenance
General Store
Clean up/take down tents, tables, chairs
Help us spread the word about the Terrapin Hill Farm Events!
Whenever you mention Terrapin Hill Farm to friends you are helping to spread the word about our business-- and we thank you! Word-of-mouth from happy visitors is our best advertising.
When posters are available for different events, we will put a link to a downloadable file below and you can print out as many as you want. Hand them out to your friends, or post them in places you think will be effective. Colleges, coffee houses, food co-ops, bookstores, music stores, restaurants, cafes, and libraries are great places to post information about our events. At all places of business, be sure to ask a manager-on-duty if there is a public space or bulliten board to post information of possible interest to their customers. Tape one to the inside of your car window! And thanks for helping to get the word out!!
