Venue Accessibility

Terrapin Hill Farm which is a working FARM (hence the name). There are rolling hills, creeks, trees, etc....all the kinds of stuff you would expect to find in the central Kentucky countryside. While it makes a beautiful setting for a music festival, we are aware that it may bring up some concerns for those who need assistance getting around. We strive to make the venue accessible to all, and we hope that the following descriptions will help convey this...

  • the surface is mostly grass, dirt roads and paths (fairly smooth and well packed, unless there is rain), some parts of roads are covered with gravel; the area in front of the main stage is flat and fine gravel (a former horseback riding arena).
  • there are wheelchair accessible portable toilets near the stage/vending areas and also in the campground.
  • there are plenty of level camping spots in the main campground. there is a hill to get to the stages, but no steps. there is also a family campground that has access to the stages via a packed gravel driveway.
  • the chapel stage seating is all grass, most of which is a slight incline down to the stage. the main stage is on a level arena and behind that is a fairly steep grass-covered hill. there is some shade at the chapel stage in late afternoon (when most music takes place on that stage). there is not much shade at the main stage but the music does not start there until evening.
  • there is a fairly smooth dirt road that runs between both stages, to the pavilion, showers, and through the vending area.
  • there are hot showers that are wheelchair accessible
