Wedding Ceremony/Reception Rates

Terrapin Hill Farm packages include the following:

• Choice of several beautiful ceremony sites with benches for seating and rustic cedar arches
• Covered Pavilion for reception, with curtains that close in case of wind or rain
• Signs at highway and on farm road directing guests to venue
• Farmhouse rooms for dressing
• Restrooms with flush toilets located close to Pavilion
• Ample space for parking close to Pavilion
• Building with fridge and freezer near Pavilion, fridge and freezer in farmhouse
• Chairs, tables, and table linens*
• Barnwood bar*

• Stage for DJ or band with ample electric power*
• Rustic decorations* (see Items on Hand)
​• Decorative lighting in the pavilion; string lights in venue area
• Patio heaters and fans
• Terrapin Hill staff on site during entire event 
• Unlimited emails with venue owners to answer questions during the planning process
• One hour personal consultation at venue included anytime between booking and wedding date.
*not included in Elopement package

NOTE: due to COVID-19, we will customize our elopement and micro-wedding packages - if they are not exactly what you have in mind we will work with you to create a package exactly for your needs! Our venue is completely outdoors making it much safer than indoor venues, and we do not have a capacity restriction. We can provide our safety protocols upon request.

Make it a Wedding Weekend! 
If you want to spend more time with family and friends that are coming from a distance, have friends that enjoy camping and bonfires, or just want to celebrate your wedding for longer than one day, we offer the option to spend one or two nights at the farm. You'll have use of the farmhouse (including the kitchen, complete with all cooking equipment), plus all camping areas including the cottages, teepee, and RV hookups. Please 
contact us with any questions about adding extra time to your wedding day.
$600* add one night (night before OR night of the wedding)
$1000* add two nights (night before AND night of the wedding)
Additional time options:
$200 add day before the wedding 9am-8pm (no extra charge if staying the night before the wedding)
$200 add day after 11am-6pm

$450 day-of coordinator 
$100 extra assistance with set up or break down 
$50-$100 assistance during reception (e.g. putting food away, cake cutting/serving)
$200 hay ride

$1 each for silverware set/glassware/china plates (includes bussing tables and washing)

Discounts:  
Classic Weddings on Sunday-Thursday take 15% off
​Active military members/first responders (bride or groom) take 10% off
(must be in the military or working as police, firefighters or EMTs/paramedics at time of wedding planning)
If you have a unique situation or requests we’ll do our best to work with you!

You are welcome to hire your own caterer and provide your own alcohol. See Local Services for caterer suggestions.
*KY 6% sales tax will be added to venue fees. Insurance is required.
Terrapin Hill Farm does not discriminate against religious beliefs or sexual orientation.

If you decide to choose Terrapin Hill Farm for your wedding venue, a Deposit of $500 (Classic weddings) or $200 (Elopements and Micro-weddings) and a signed contract is required to save your wedding date. The balance of the rental fee is due 30 days before the wedding date.
Cancellation Policy: The Deposit is nonrefundable. If you cancel your event 30 days or more prior to the date of the event, you are entitled to a refund of all rental fees paid except the nonrefundable Deposit. If cancellation occurs within 30 days of the event date you will forfeit the entire rental fee. If you wish to change the date of your event, every effort will be made by Terrapin Hill Farm to transfer the reservation to the new date. We do NOT charge a fee for rescheduling your wedding due to COVID-19.
