Your wedding will be the only event taking place on the farm. You create the vision and we'll help make it happen. You get our personalized attention to detail from the planning stages to the day it all comes together, ready to answer questions, make adjustments or provide something you need. Flexibility is key. Choose your own vendors, choose your ceremony site, choose your decorations. Make a schedule that works for you, stay for a few hours or for the whole weekend. We'll work with you! Beauty abounds. You'll be surrounded by forests, green fields, and rolling hills... the kind of gorgeous scenery that makes a perfect backdrop for your wedding photo. Environment matters. Electricity is solar-generated, we offer reusable decorations and dinnerware, we recycle bottles and cans, and can suggest florists and caterers that use locally raised products. Experience shows. The Chapel

The majestic beauty of the Chapel provides a unique and breathtaking setting for your ceremony, with a beautiful backdrop only nature can provide. This is a ceremony site everyone will remember. Seating is in front, or a small number of guests can be seated under the roof.

The Top of the Knob

The hill behind the farmhouse has an amazing view of the countryside in every direction. Just a short walk up from the pavilion, it's also accessible by vehicle. You'll feel like you're on top of the world when you say your I-do's here!

The Roundhouse
Our newest structure on the farm is the Roundhouse, an 8-sided gazebo tucked away in a small grassy opening that overlooks the pond. In the center of the building is a fire pit, but it can be covered if you'd rather have a smooth floor.
This is a very private space and can be used for your "first look", for private vows, or for photos. It's also a great space for smaller ceremonies like elopements or micro-weddings.

It's your choice where you have your ceremony, and there are so many locations to choose from... in the woods or a field, near a pond or under a tree... our venue has so many beautiful sites it's hard to choose just one - but you can take photos anywhere!

Reception site:
The Pavilion
The 40'x60' pavilion can hold about 175 people for a seated meal plus room for dancing. The twinkly lights and chandelier provide the ambiance, just add the decor you like to create your own style. Curtains with clear panels keep out the wind and rain, if needed. Restrooms, parking, and bonfire are close by. You don't have to settle on a barn for a gorgeous, rustic, country setting.

The Farmhouse
The 100+ year old farmhouse features a large modern kitchen and comfortable living room downstairs, one and a half baths, and dressing rooms upstairs. With central heat and AC, it's a comfortable place to relax before or after the festivities. The back deck and yard are perfect for smaller gatherings such as your rehearsal dinner.

The Cottages
If you add an "overnight" to your package, guests can camp in tents, bring or rent an RV, or stay in our rustic cottages - it's all included! The cottages can also be used as dressing rooms if you need a second space away from the farmhouse.

Pete and Brenda have owned Terrapin Hill Farm since 1985 and have been hosting weddings here since about 2008. That's a lot of years of experience in the wedding business. We're proud to announce that our son, Jonah, joined our team in the summer of 2024.
We are easy to work with and will adapt to the needs of each couple. The weddings we host are never cookie cutter events- each one is tailored to the tastes and desires of the couple we are working with.
